NOA’S GUIDE

TO THE NOOSA BIOSPHERE RESERVE

WHERE nature and humans thrivE together

In 2007, Noosa was declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, putting it in the same global club as the Amazon and Uluru. That’s right: koalas, surfers, and biosphere scientists — all INTERMINGLING.

Think of A BIOSPHERE as Earth’s VIP lounge — a spot where nature, culture, and community all work in harmony. Noosa’s biosphere status means its beaches, forests, wetlands, and rivers aRE protected, celebrated, and home to incredible biodiversity.

Over 300 bird species. Sea turtles nesting onshore. Glossy black-cockatoos wheeling overhead. It's nature turned up to 11.

Noosa is also about good choices: sustainable tourism, low-rise living, and a community that actually gives a damn.

NOA PROUDLY CALLS NOOSA HOME, HERE’S OUR LOCAL KNOWLEDGE.
